So today started the infamous and frightening “Junior year of college” and of course I had to wake up sick despite the 1,500mg of Vitamin C that I ingested from my self-diagnosed medical recommendation (mom would not be happy).

This year, I wanted to start a legacy of actually completing the goals that I set for myself. Well, that did not start this morning. I missed a class and in the three that I went to, I kind of dozed off, tweeted, posted a new Facebook status or enjoyed the fresh crop of faces presented in the new year and quarter. However, getting off to a rocky start does not mean that the end result will be as rocky; I am making a commitment to wake up and traverse to the RPAC as soon as it opens, actually be on time and prepared for my classes as well as being attentive and contributory while in the class no matter what the subject.

You might wonder why I decided to put this in writing, well I want to create a “hard copy”, if you will, so I am able to hold myself accountable.

While I may not be perfect, who is to say that I cannot perfect my future…
